A few highlights about the association is that all judges have been tested, reviewed and approved by the board. Bucker’s offers annual judging clincs, hosted by PBR judge Royd Doyal. This assures that their judges stay on the top of their game. The association has a “No Home Field Advantage” rule, stating no bull that lives where an event is held can be entered in said event. They also have a “Never Won A Check” side pot at their finals. This gives spectators an additional opportunity to win at the finals.
How they started:
Many local breeders and contractors would regularly travel over ten hours to events, this proved to be costly and timely.
In 2015, Casey Decker decided it would be advantageous if we put on sanctioned events in our area. A few of us were already putting on local unsanctioned events in our backyard so we combined forces. Casey reached out to the current board, Clint Decker, Josh Koschel, Josh Frihauf, Cody McFadden, Kody Lostroh, Phil Markoff and Tenneile Rice. The eight had a small meeting at the Pepper Pod restaurant in Hudson Colorado and formed what is now Buckers Unlimited LLC (BULLc for short).
In 2017 we formed Belles and Bulls, our women’s division.
Belles and Bulls mission is to empower women in rodeo, agriculture and life.
We offer ABBI points to our members via our co-sanction relationship with the ABBI.
We have produced champions every year.
We look forward to meeting every member and spending as much time getting to know them as possible. At BULLc every member is family!
